Image Making as Ritual

Some of my images that are here on DA originated on DigiVideo and were captured as frame stills, then manipulated and reendered in Adobe Aftereffects. Others originated as photochemical images in 35mm, while there are some that are digital photographs, manipulated in Photoshop and other systems.

Regardless of the medium, the final image describes the process represented by the "alchemical" or "metaphysical" ritual that is enacted. Or to put it another way: "the Magick is in the doing."
